Trapani is a large port town and whilst it it does not have all the quirky quaint features that many of the places we visited have, it does still have a host of delicious restaurants and there is an impressive promenade on the waterfront to watch the sunset 🌅.

From Trapani we got a ferry to the beautiful island Favigana. We decided to get the fast ferry service which took about 30 minutes ⛴. Although we were almost caught out and not allowed on the ferry as we did not have a Covid-19 mask! Wearing masks on ferries seemed to be the only rule on Covid-19 that we had to follow throughout our trip. Luckily though there was someone selling masks at the ferry terminal so we managed to buy one and were allowed on the boat!
The island is tiny and we hired bikes to get around. Throughout the day we visited numerous beaches which were all stunning in their own way. All had amazing blue water picture postcard views. At times we stopped off for drinks and had a lovely seafood lunch at a beachside restaurant.
